Pool Deck Resurfacing in Orlando
Cracked, faded or stained deck? We repair the cracks and coat the whole deck over your existing concrete. No demolition, done in 2-3 days.
How we resurface a pool deck
Step 1
Inspection and written estimate
We look at the cracks, check the concrete underneath and document the full scope. You get a written estimate before any work starts.
Step 2
Crack repair
Cracks are routed, cleaned and filled with a professional-grade repair compound. Grinding and surface prep make sure the repair bonds.
Step 3
Full deck coating
The coating goes over the whole deck, not just the patched areas, so the color is even and the surface gets a slip-resistant texture.
Step 4
Cure and use
Most projects take 2-3 days: crack filling on day 1, coating on days 2-3, then 24-48 hours of curing before foot traffic.
Three ways to redo an Orlando pool deck
- Concrete coating (Color Seal H2Cool). Bonds to the slab you already have. The most affordable way to refresh an aging concrete deck.
- Brick pavers. Belgard, Flagstone or Tremron, with matching coping. They drain naturally and single pavers are easy to replace.
- Natural stone. Carrara from Nova Tile; the sandblasted finish has the highest slip resistance for wet areas.

Pool deck resurfacing questions
- Do I need to replace my pool deck, or can it be resurfaced?
- Most cracked decks can be resurfaced. Color Seal H2Cool bonds directly to your existing concrete, so there is no demolition and no full slab replacement.
- What causes pool deck cracks in Orlando?
- Florida's heat, ground movement and water getting into the concrete are the most common causes. Most cracks are repairable without replacing the deck.
- How long does pool deck resurfacing take?
- Most projects are complete in 2-3 days: crack filling on day 1 and deck coating on days 2-3, with 24-48 hours of curing before foot traffic.
- Will the new deck surface be slippery?
- No. The deck coating includes a slip-resistant texture that is safe for barefoot traffic around the pool.
- What colors can I choose?
- Color Seal H2Cool has 9 standard colors: Autumn Tan, Cabo Beach, Caribbean Cream, Graystone, Irish Cream, Natural, Ocean Sand, Oyster and White. Special-order colors are available on request.
- Can you replace the deck with pavers instead?
- Yes. We install Belgard, Flagstone and Tremron brick pavers with matching coping, and Carrara natural stone from Nova Tile. Pavers drain naturally and are easy to repair; natural stone stays coolest underfoot.
